Charlotte Bronte - Jane Eyre. THE independent woman. Wonderful language that leaves an archaic touch to my own English. A bit of kitsch. A bit too much of a happy ending. I am infected by modern "What' beautiful is suspect." and a happy ending can't be the ending of a good book, can it? Still, I liked it very much because the characters developed. Freedom, independence, relationship and love?
Jetzt: Christine Nöstlinger - Dschi Dschei Dschunior. Wischerbriefe. Wundervoll unorthodox (und vollkommen unorthographisch). Vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, wann es erschienen ist. Ich mag gute Kinderbücher!
